Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the administrative side of project management. This role will involve managing project documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between all project stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects run efficiently and stay on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers, including document management and schedule coordination.
- Organize and maintain project files, ensuring all records are up to date.
- Communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely project progress.
- Assist with preparing proposals, contracts, and change orders.
- Track project budgets and expenses to help keep projects within financial parameters.
- Prepare project reports, status updates, and meeting agendas.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of administrative experience in the mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or piping industries.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project documents such as contracts, RFIs, and change orders is a plus.
