Mechanical Assemblers - Spherion

Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for Industrial/Mechanical Assemblers for their Alachua, FL facility. You will be performing mechanical assembly using large tools. Ability to work on mechanics and read blueprints is necessary. Let's get to work.

Possible temp to hire position
Alachua, FL
Schedule: FT, M-F, 6:30a - 3p OR 3p - 11:30p
Salary: $18 - $19/hr

Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of assembly operations including electrical, welding, and mechanical
- Review specifications to determine assembly and special options
- Check bins for adequate supplies
- Ensures connections for correct fit, parts, and sub-assemblies per specifications
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned

Working hours: 6:30 AM - 11:30 PM

Skills:
- Excellent troubleshooting skills

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- High school or GED preferred
- Know how to read blueprints
- Knowledge of basic hand tools
- Ability to work on mechanics
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
