Mechanical Assembler - The Panther Group

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mechanical assembly of extrusion frames.
• Minimal electro-mechanical assembly using proper grounding techniques.
• Following work instructions, perform repetitive assembly operations.
• Produce quality work to specified time standards.
• Execute in-process checks using visual inspection and check lists.
• Possess an aptitude for cross functional training to reduce takt time.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools such as screw drivers, hex keys, drills, saws, tape measures and fixtures.
• Coordinating with teammates participate in manually integrating large subassemblies to complete a final assembly.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

REQUIREMENTS & ADDITIONAL DETAILS

• High School Education or GED
• Some manufacturing experienced desired
• Proficient in reading drawings and reading and measuring using a tape measure.
• Operate hand pallet jacks to move material within plant.
• Able to lift, squat, bend, reach, and stand as work requires.
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds.  Frequent use of hand tools. Long periods of standing.
