**Project Start Date:** December 11, 2024

**Pay Range:** $19 - $22/hour based upon experience

**Per Diem:** offered for travelers

**Job Description**

United Tradesof America is seeking **MechanicalApprentices** with 2-6 years of industrial experience to join our project in Mt. Vernon, IL. Candidates will assist in the installation of pre-fabricated machinery and perform a variety of tasks requiring technical expertise and a strong work ethic.

**Responsibilities**

- Cut, measure, and prepare pipe for installation.
- Hang supports, bolt steel components together, and assist in the alignment and installation of machinery.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks related to mechanical installations, including adjustments and troubleshooting as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the worksite remains compliant and hazard-free.

**Qualifications**

- 2-6 years of experience in the industrial field, preferably with mechanical installations.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for cutting pipe, bolting steel, and installing machinery.
- Possession of basic tools and **personal protective equipment (PPE)** required for the job.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Team-oriented mindset and good communication skills.

**Work Conditions**

- Must be able to work outdoors and in industrial environments.
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials as needed.
- Open availability to work extended hours or weekends as the project demands.
