Express Employment in Auburn is hiring a Mechanic for a local Auburn, AL Company. 

Full-Time

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST

Pay: $20 - $30 per hour

Role Description

We need a Technician with basic gas and/or battery powered small engine skills to join our team. Excellent opportunity with a fast-growing golf car dealer. Positive work environment with ample opportunity for long-term advancement.

Experience with golf cars is helpful but not required. You will receive factory-provided instruction during the year.

We are more interested in finding a candidate that brings a positive attitude everyday, takes pride in their work and work station, willing to put in the time to learn new skills in order to perfect their craft, can converse with customers, and willing to provide world-class customer service on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Experience in mechanical repairs and service
• Ability to manage their work station and their own/company tools
• Experience in customer satisfaction and providing excellent customer service
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of the golf car industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools to conduct maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
• Ensure proper alignment and vehicle maintenance to uphold safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to factory protocols.
