ABOUT THE ROLE



As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements, create innovative designs, and ensure the successful implementation of mechanical solutions. Your expertise in mechanical design and problem-solving will be crucial in delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.



RESPONSIBILITIES





+ Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to define design requirements and specifications



+ Create detailed mechanical designs using CAD software and other engineering tools



+ Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design performance and reliability



+ Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during the manufacturing and testing phases



+ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations



+ Travel: up to 5%



+ Hybrid Work Schedule



+ Reports to: Sr Engineering Manager



U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization


MUST HAVE





+ 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or a related field



+ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CREO/ProEngineer AutoCAD) and other engineering tools



+ Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies



+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics





WE VALUE





+ Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field



+ Experience with electronics packaging/avionics



+ Experience with GD&T



+ Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industry



+ Familiarity with industry standards and regulations



+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills



+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities
