At Jefferson House we provide excellent long-term care and rehabilitation services to seniors in the greater Hartford area for over 120 years. We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.
Manages all aspects of Medicare reporting information to insure optimum payment according to the Omnibus Reconciliation Act 1987 (OBRA) and Perspective Payment System (PPS) regulations and federal guidelines. Manages a work area in the Jefferson House environment to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department in support of the hospital's strategic plan, and the function's goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Current CT Nursing License. BSN preferred
- One or more years MDS experience
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Perspective Payment Systems (PPS) regulations.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.
