Job Summary
Overall program support for MBC Global team working with Global and Regional Directors to launch MBC Global program to all regions over next few years. Key role with managerial and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Co-Lead MBC Marketing Agency (internal student led marketing agency)
+ Overall leadership of program in U.S. working with global director
+ Develop plan to expand to support other regions (e.g., Africa, Europe, India, South America)
+ Oversee recruitment and training of marketing agency team leaders and agency associates
+ Lead and guide student directors
+ Work with DESB finance team to ensure timely administration of scholarships each semester
+ Maintain Marketing Agency website and communications
Program and Administrative Support and Team Coordination
+ Stakeholder communications – assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents with outside stakeholders
+ Regional team coordination – facilitate communication and collaboration among regional team (support offices) and global director, including working closely with MBC U.S. Administrative Manager.
+ Global model and process – develop and implement processes for MBC global model and ensure compliance across regions with strategy and tactics
+ Regional events – assist in planning and executing two regional “join ups” for community and team building.
+ Marketing – coordinate and assist MBC Marketing Director in overall marketing—particularly creating and executing social content
Budget Management, Analytics and Tracking:
+ Planning – assist in budget planning and management for program and administrative expenses
+ Monitoring – Monitor and control costs to ensure compliance with the budget
+ Reporting – work closely with regional host partners to report status of regional budgets
+ MBC Dashboard – work with both program Directors, MBC Marketing Director and U.S. Administrative Manager to build out the MBC dashboard for the important things we will track historically and for future
Admissions and Canvas:
+ Recruiting – Assist global and regional director in recruiting, screening and admitting founders
+ Admittance and enrolled into Canvas – work with UofU admissions team and Entrepreneurship and Strategy, Admin. Assistant, to enroll founders into program once screened by global/regional director
+ Canvas – ensure quality and timing for launch of Online Canvas course working with global director and online design team and regional directors
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four to six years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of hiring department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Completion of provided supervisory training within one year of employment may be required. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
