Seniors Helping Seniors® of Gahanna is seeking Seniors who want to help other Seniors in their home.

We help seniors stay in their home offering

• companionship
• daily bathing assistance
• dressing
• toileting (incontinence support/diaper changing)
• medication reminders
• errands
• transportation to appointments

We are always looking for friendly, compassionate caregivers. If you are an experienced caregiver (Professionally or Personally) or just enjoy helping others, we would love to speak with you. Our team includes mature, active women and men who have a passion for helping others. Your caring attitude and ability to relate to the challenges posed by aging are most important. We take our time getting to know our caregivers through a careful interview process  and  background check.

We serve Gahanna,  New Albany, Westerville, Worthington and part of Columbus communities. We work at our client's residence -wherever that may be (personal home, assisted living, rehab facility etc). Our Seniors Helping Seniors® services are ...a way to give and to receive®. Required: 

• High School Diploma or GED
• Driver's License/Insurance
• Availability for one weekend a month if needed

Preference:

• Willing to work in all 4 areas New Albany, Gahanna, Westerville, or Worthington based on needs. 
• Mature, Active adults  (40+ years old)
• Individuals who are available for both companionship and personal care needs
• Willingness to transport clients to appointments

Note:  While we are building our agency and client base, we are working diligently to put all caregivers to work on a regular, reoccuring basis; however, this position is a "Casual Time" role which means there is no guarantee of hours from week to week.  This is a great role for someone looking for exta funds, or to supplement another job. Retired  PCA, CNA, STNAs, Nurses and physicians are encouragaed to apply! 

Pay is $17/hr
