CMT Technical Services a materials engineering company and is seeking a Project Manager in AZ to oversee and direct all phases of a testing and inspection project from preparing and managing cost, personnel, maintaining client relations, review of field and laboratory reports, resolving technical issues, and quality of service. Pursue future work through bidding and submittals of firm's qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish project budgets
- Prepare and submit estimates on new structural and civil projects
- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts based on current work load and backlog
- Allocate appropriate personnel and qualifications for each project
- Review of all test and laboratory
- Provide technical advice and training oversight for field technicians and special inspections
- Conduct annual performance reviews with direct reports
- Conduct monthly safety meetings with field technicians and special inspectors
- Conduct safety and technical observations of field technicians and special inspectors

- Resolve technical and operational issues with Client
- Assist in the hiring and termination of field technicians and special inspectors
- Understandingofcontractualarrangements
- Support Business Development efforts with all client events
Qualifications
Education: High School
Experience:5 year experience as Project Manager and positions with a supervisory role
Certification: ACI, ATTI, ICC, desired but not required.

- Client satisfaction - # of complaints and concerns
- Quality of field technicians and special inspectors through performance evaluations
- Management of budgets - over and under, profit generated, change orders prepared
- Minimum 70% billable
