As a Materials Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing warehouse operations and ensuring efficient materials management. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP is essential. You’ll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues related to the warehouse management (WM) system.
• Shop Floor Support: Provide hands-on support to the operations team on the shop floor.
• Process Documentation: Ensure that all warehouse processes are well-documented and strictly followed.
• Master Data Management: Maintain accurate master data associated with the warehouse management system.
• Engineering Changes: Manage engineering changes to prevent excess inventory or obsolescence.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Warehouse Management Systems: Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, with a focus on SAP.
• Process Understanding: Familiarity with warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, and line feed.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with warehouse personnel.
• Master Data: Understanding of master data management within the warehouse system.

Bonus Qualification:

• JIT Seating Assembly Experience: Previous experience working in a Just-In-Time (JIT) seating assembly operation is a plus.
