Materials Representative – Morristown, NJ

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $20 per hour

• Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

• 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with one year of service.

Schedule:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• No on-call requirement.

• One Saturday may be required for inventory purposes.

Position Highlights:

• This is a contract assignment with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.

• The work involves receiving and handling materials, including inventory management and equipment operation (forklifts, turret trucks, and pallet jacks).

Responsibilities:

• Unloading inbound freight and receiving purchase orders in the ERP system.

• Managing inventory and putting away stock using handling equipment.

• Preparing cross-dock deliveries for other facilities.

• Pulling products to fulfill requisitions and preparing them for transport.

• Ensuring warehouse cleanliness and assisting in other areas as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Skills:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

  • Must provide own transportation.

• Preferred Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is a plus but not required.
