Job Details
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary for the position.
- Lead research activities for adhesives, filter media, and materials development projects, from conceptualization to implementation.
- Testing and evaluation of new materials in cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with universities and research centers to coordinate external tests and studies for new materials development.
- Monitor research results from external parties and evaluate new technologies for client's filtration applications, identifying opportunities for
integration into existing or future projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years project management experience
- Must have experience with polyurethanes, RTV silicones, PVA, EVA, and/or polyamide adhesives
- Proven experience in materials research, particularly in the development of adhesives
- Proficiency or a strong understanding of GCMS, SEM, optical microscope, rheometer, penetrometer, and other laboratory equipment and analysis
