Senior Material Management Specialist



Location:

Royalton, Vermont

Join our premier plastic injection molding facility as a

Senior Material Management Specialist

and play a critical role in ensuring seamless production flow, inventory control, and scheduling within our complex manufacturing processes. Located just 20 minutes north of White River Junction, our facility offers an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment while enjoying the scenic beauty of Vermont.

Shift Details:

A Shift

: Sunday–Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Enjoy a 12-hour shift schedule with alternating 3- and 4-day workweeks, including

8 hours of built-in overtime paid at 1.5x

.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage material flow to and from the production floor.

Operate and maintain the

Motan material handling system

.

Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely raw material procurement.

Perform inventory control, including cycle counts and maintaining accuracy.

Execute shipping and receiving tasks as required.

Ensure proper material drying and setup to support uninterrupted production.

Maintain lot traceability and ensure accurate documentation.

Conduct

BOM audits

for new production jobs.

Implement and sustain

5S workstations

on the production floor.

Place authorized purchase orders for production supplies.

Qualifications:

Required:

3+ years of experience in materials planning, scheduling, and logistics.

Strong expertise in inventory control and cycle counting.

Proficiency with

ERP systems

and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

Familiarity with plastic injection molding processes.

Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
