Title : Material Logistics Specialist
Location : Charlotte NC USA 28273
Monday -Friday - 8am-4:30pm
(Full-Time) ON SITE in Charlotte
Job Responsibilities
- Order Execution responsibility of Generator, CPSL, and "ship direct" items for new apparatus projects.
- Respond to PCM's to drive ordering of required components.
- Interface with engineering and supply management colleagues to achieve on-time deliveries.
- Prepare export documents for shipping parts to various international project sites ensuring compliance with US customs rules and regulations within client Energy Operating Companies in the US.
- Coordination of export activities for parts with customs brokers or authorized forwarding companies.
- Extend material masters in SAP/OPP for planning the supply of materials using MRP, lead time, planning and BOM's.
- Issue requisitions to Procurement Specialist in SAP/OPP to obtain generator parts.
- Review and report on product availability to ensure sufficient quantities of products are on hand to meet on-time delivery against customer demand.
Required Experience, Skills & Education
- 2 + years SAP experience.
- Proficient with computers, especially the use of SAP.
- Understanding of BOM's, drawing structure and engineering specifications.
- Basic knowledge of generator components and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills with local and international colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve problems.
- Independent, but team-oriented work style.
- HS Diploma or GED Required/ BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
