Material Handler - Second shift - Specialty Building Products Holdings, LLC

We are currently looking for a Material Handler at U.S. Lumber to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will need a strong power equipment background. Operate electric lifts, cherry picker etc. Experience in supplying production lines.

Second Shift Opportunity! Start time 4pm.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operates forklifts or other machinery (chainsaw) in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting materials
• Operate power equipment, electric lifts, cherry picker etc.  
• Ensure the product and or materials meet quality expectations  
• Notify supervisor of improvement opportunities  
• Support area needs to remove empty pallets, trash and recycle type materials  
• Clean all parts and pieces using sandpaper, acetone on a cloth rag, or using air hose to blow off dust in tough to reach areas to ensure parts and pieces are ready to be painted 
• Must learn how to use a chainsaw and Holtec industrial saw
• Band, wrap and tape product as needed
• Must be able to read a tape measure  
• Load trucks with finished door products per direction of Production Manager  
• Responsible for adhering to forklift, operational, quality and safety guidelines  
• Perform other duties as assigned

Starting Pay $22/hr based on experience.
