Material Handler - Steadfast Employment

Responsibilities for the Material Handler position:

• Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure.
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
• Operates hand tools or portable power tools to assist in assembly operation.
• Use rivet and other machines for force fitting and fastening operations.
• May be assigned to different work stations as production needs require.

Salary for the Material Handler position:

• $16.50 - $17.00 per hour

Shifts for the Material Handler position:

• 6am-2pm, M-F
• 2pm-10pm, M-F
• 10pm-6am, M-F

Requirements for the Material Handler position:

• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening
• Must have an active forklift licence
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a HS Diploma or GED
