Material Handler at Apex Systems

Position: Material Handler

Location: Quincy, MA

Rate: $18-20/hr

Duration: 6+ months contract, likely to extend

Shift Options:

• 7:00 am - 2:30 pm
• 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm
• 10:30 pm - 7:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate physical and systematic receipt, put away, replenishment, picking, and shipment of medical devices.
• Identify, resolve, or escalate issues promptly.
• Adhere to all SOPs and compliance requirements.
• Process materials as required.
• Follow and uphold the Company Quality Policy.

Key Duties:

• Maintain accuracy in transactions and physical movement of products.
• Process orders for internal and external customers, meeting all handling requirements.
• Complete required training and strictly follow standard operating procedures.
• Perform daily housekeeping and adhere to work and safety rules.
• Engage in lifting, standing, bending, and reaching as needed.
• Operate computer devices, printers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Understand and apply lean principles.
• Conduct cycle counts.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and product quality by adhering to the Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures.

• Perform routine and occasional non-routine assignments using standard methods and procedures.
