Job Summary
Materials handling and processing to support production
Receive Materials upon delivery and process into the inventory system. Verify materials received, process certification and paperwork for each incoming shipment. Match materials with shop orders and distribute them to daily job rack. Process scrap material and oil waste. Ability to lift 50 pounds and an understanding this job requires physical work. Extremely detail oriented. Excellent job attendance history. Forklift experience desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
- Receive incoming materials, via truck, UPS Fed X. etc.
- Maintain accurate records of production progress
- Raw material inventory control of material lots
- Prepping, issuing and supplying material lots to production or outside suppliers
- Processing scrap (shavings and solids from production)
- Understanding of material Quality standards
Additional
- Shop floor cleaning
- Pick up or deliver supplies as needed
- Schedule scrap & waste oil pick up
- Changing shop AC filters as required
- Other errands and duties as required
- Restocking material from production back to inventory
Ability To:

- Stand for extended periods of time
- Operate company vehicle (valid driver’s license is required)
