We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team on the first shift. This role involves a variety of tasks associated with the storing, distribution, and accurate control of materials, parts, and supplies. This Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory control, processing transactions, labeling, and adhering to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team on the first shift. This role involves a variety of tasks associated with the storing, distribution, and accurate control of materials, parts, and supplies. This Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining proper inventory control, processing transactions, labeling, and adhering to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage inventory by following FIFO processes for material movement and transactions.
- Fill material shortages and assist the Receiving or Shipping departments as needed.
- Support a continuous improvement culture to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain an organized and safe stockroom environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 3 to 5 years of related experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 to 75 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working collaboratively with all levels of staff.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
