Material Handler at Aditi Consulting

Summary:

The Warehouse Logistics Associate is responsible for transporting raw materials, in-process, and finished goods as required by the production schedule. This role involves shipping and receiving materials necessary to meet production goals, verifying product movements, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform order picking using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to ship finished goods to customers as per instructions.
• Read, understand, and interpret shipping documents, including BOL, packing lists, and pro-numbers.
• Assemble and pack products into containers or use pre-assembled containers.
• Post shipping weights and charges, affix appropriate postage, and attach shipping labels to cartons.
• Receive raw materials and supplies in line with internal receiving SOPs.
• Obtain material samples as required by sample orders.
• Inspect and unpack incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages.
• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts or pallet jacks to move shipments to storage or work areas.
• Generate labels and shipping documents using a computer; light to moderate data entry required.
• Load and unload materials by hand onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Use ERP/WMS systems for inventory management tasks, including locating and storing items.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: At least 6 months of warehouse and forklift experience.

Skills:

• Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment.

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
