Material Handler II
The Material Handler II participates in work related to warehouse, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
This is for a 2nd shift position.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure a Safe working environment
+ Ensure accurate, up-to-date records of inventoryin stockroom and daily operations; completes necessary forms or paperwork for documentation.
+ Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
+ Operates fork-lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area
+ Data entry
+ Pulling and moving material as needed.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Inventory control including but not limited to daily cycle count functions
+ Strong interpersonal skills needed to be able to communicate with system users as well as internal and external technical support
+ Monitor all warehouse transactions for accuracy.
+ Detail Oriented
+ Ability to follow instructions
Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma
+ Must have (5) years overall warehouse experience
+ 1 year processing orders in SAP
+ 1 year entering orders in SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
+ APICS Certification
+ Data manipulation via Excel
+ Data Entry and 10-Key
+ Customer Service Oriented
+ Detailed Oriented
+ Knowledge of Engineering change processes and manufacturing processes
Work Conditions:
+ Physical labor, deadline, overtime and continuous improvement process
+ Safety is always the top most priority
+ Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
