Overview
Since 1979, Insight for Living (IFL) has been committed to excellence in teaching the study and application of God’s Word. Pastor Chuck Swindoll and his wife, Cynthia, began the ministry by broadcasting Pastor Chuck’s Bible-teaching program, Insight for Living, on 18 stations. Today, the program airs on more than 2,000 stations, can be streamed through various online channels, and can be heard in 70 countries and eight languages.
We also produce quality Bible-study resources, have a dynamic online presence, provide pastoral counseling, and actively walk alongside listeners through life’s challenges. As a ministry, we’re committed to Vision 195, our strategic mission to pursue Jesus’ Great Commission by extending God’s grace and making disciples in all 195 countries and their 6,875 heart languages.
In addition to our international headquarters in Frisco, Texas, we currently have ministry offices in 10 countries, where our pastors translate resources, train church leaders to use Pastor Chuck’s Searching the Scriptures Bible-study methods, serve their communities, and pursue Vision 195 in their languages. Position Summary
The material handler promotes and supports the mission of Insight for Living (IFL) by managing and assisting with inventory analysis and control. The material handler is responsible for assisting with inventory and cycle counts, receiving and shipping of product regarding requests for merchandise (RFMs), printing of materials, duplication of audio materials, and kitting adhering to ministry standards of excellence and quality. Likewise, the material handler is an independent self-starter, is detail-oriented, and ensures timely completion of assigned tasks.

Core Job Functions
Inventory Control (40%)
- Sleeves CDs, inserts album covers, and builds final sets for shipment
- Transfers inventory levels between warehouse codes to allow order processing
- Assists project manager with monitoring stock levels of all CD series and duplication of proper quantities daily
- Stocks inventory shelves as directed by the project manager
- Ensures shelves remain orderly and fronted daily
- Sweeps and mops floors as needed
Packaging and Sealing (25%)
- Pulls and packages premiums for shipment
- Labels and seals packages to be shipped
- Pulls inventory for RFMs and prepares them for delivery or shipment
Inventory Shipments (20%)
- Prepares materials and packages for shipment
- Sends shipments of product to radio stations
- Sends shipments of inventory to IFL’s international offices
- Operates inserter machine to prepare order receipts

Position Specifications
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or currently enrolled in high school, some college preferred
- Working knowledge of distribution functions
- Intermediate skill levels using Microsoft Office
- Ability to interact with people at various levels in the organization
- Must occasionally lift up to 70 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- High attention to detail and superior organizational skills while multitasking
- Humility, a high level of flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with others
- Anticipates and prioritizes work with minimal direction
