About the Job
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for aMaterial Handlerto join a leading Company located in the Exeter, NHsurrounding area.
The Material Handler is responsible for processing and moving finished products and materials throughout the organization.
Responsibilities :
+ Perform transactions in the inventory system, moving products around within the warehouse
+ Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities
+ Materials may be moved from racks, skids, or carts
+ Maintain organization and inventory of products within the department
+ Understand and implement required procedures (ISO standard documents)
+ Oversee and maintain a clean work area as well as any other area that may be assigned to Finished Goods according to our 5S standards
+ Report any and all safety concerns to the Supervisor or Manager
+ Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Assist in day-to-day department operations as requested
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications :
+ Previous Oracle experience is a plus
+ Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word)
+ Knowledge of material moving equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies
+ Knowledge of forklifts and reach trucks a plus
+ Interest in getting certified for forklift operation is highly desired
+ Must have good communication skills, simple mathematical ability, and can write legibly
+ Must be able to work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment
+ Must be able to follow established procedures, and work under the direction of the supervisor
+ Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
+ Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
