A Material Handler - 2nd Shift job in San Jose, CA is available through Belcan. In this role you will be responsible for receiving materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number and quantity. You will also need to document materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location. To be considered, you must have at least a High School Diploma along with at least three years of relevant warehouse experience.

Material Handler - 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities:
* Receives materials and supplies by verifying PO information on ERP - PO number, QTY, etc. (Should be familiar with ERP - SAP a plus)
* Documents materials receipts and put away to the appropriate storage location.
* Locate material(s) by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
* Deliver production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final
distribution.
* Locate and pack materials for shipping.
* Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
* Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
* Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
* Operates forklifts (certified a plus), pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals
machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
* Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
* Maintain warehouse operation area clean and orderly.
* Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.

Material Handler - 2nd Shift Job Qualifications:
* High School Diploma
* 3 years of related warehouse experience (shipping and receiving, kitting, packing)
* Experience with driving a company box truck for deliveries.
* Effective organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and highly regulated with adaptability to changing priorities.
* Strong team player
* Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted
* Ability to operate a forklift
* Must be able to work 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM PST.
* Must be able to train on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST.
