Material Handler 1
Job Description:
_The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials._
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Perform work within takt/cycle time
+ Perform work per work instructions
+ Provide and process movement of material to point of use
+ Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat
+ Inform proper personnel of material shortage
+ Check in and place materials from other cells
+ Operate forklift
+ Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
+ Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
+ Basic math skills
+ Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu
+ Certified forklift operator
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Experience in material handling
