Material Handler 2nd Shift - Alliance Industrial

We are seeking experienced Unloaders and Loaders to join our team for the city of Carson/ Long Beach Area.. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a pallet jack, as well as mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment. The ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds or higher is required. The candidate should also be familiar with order picking procedures and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: 2nd Shift 
Mon- Fri, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am with mandatory overtime until 4:00 am. 
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME ON SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS 

Pay Rate: $17/hr

Responsibilities:

- Load and unload trucks with a manual pallet jack

- Pick orders accurately and efficiently by using a RF scanner

- Build pallets with attention to detail and safety

- Follow OSHA guidelines for warehouse safety

- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed

Experience:

- Mechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment

- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds plus

- Experience operating a manual pallet jack

- Familiarity with order picking procedures 

- Minimum of at least 6 months to a year of equivalent experience
