Material Control Coordinator - Finish Line Staffing Services

Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, has an immediate opening for a Material Control Coordinator. This role will manage jobs/priorities on the manufacturing floor and in the SLS room, manage castings shipments to outside suppliers, and manage special insert jobs on the manufacturing floor.Responsibilities:

• Track/follow-up on Non-Conforming Material issues (NCMR’s)
• Assist the Material Control Analyst to validate/recount daily cycle counts
• Kit jobs to the floor
• Job/Material transactions on floor
• Execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Oracle experience is a plus
• Experience with expediting, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices, and MS Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, hectic, ever-changing environment with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
• Must be aware of hazards within the company; adhere to safety standards established by FDA and other regulatory agencies
• Ability to work in changing environments (reduced lighting, increased noise, temperaturevariances, unpleasant odors, etc.)
