Title: Masters Level Therapist
Location: Northeastern Region
Description:
The Therapist will provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling services to survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV), individuals who have caused harm, and children exposed to IPV. This role focuses on supporting survivors in increasing safety, healing from trauma, and fostering accountability for individuals causing harm. The position involves individual therapy, group facilitation, assessments, and collaboration with case planners and program teams to ensure client needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Conduct joint home visits with case planners for assigned cases.
Perform comprehensive assessments, including trauma screening, and create service plans for affected families.
Provide trauma-informed, client-centered individual and family therapy for survivors and children exposed to IPV.
Co-facilitate psychoeducational and evidence-based group sessions for survivors, children (ages 4-12), and individuals who have caused harm.
Support accountability efforts through educational counseling and therapeutic interventions.
Maintain detailed case files and ensure accurate, timely reporting of services provided.
Collaborate with program teams to ensure coordinated, client-centered services that prioritize safety.
Participate in family team conferences, service termination meetings, individual and group supervision, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
Perform administrative and program support tasks as needed.
Required Skills:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology, or a related field with licensure or working toward licensure; LCSW preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
1-2 years of experience providing trauma-informed domestic violence prevention and intervention services.
Experience working with individuals causing harm in relationships and/or abuse intervention programming.
Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, child development, and family systems frameworks.
Familiarity with public benefits, housing systems, and domestic violence services.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional Saturdays.
Desired Skills:
Training and experience working with child welfare-involved families.
Experience using client-centered approaches to engage survivors and children impacted by domestic violence.

Pay range: $43.4K-62K/year
