Job Details
We are looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Permanent Master Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of construction equipment, with a particular focus on cranes. As a Master Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of construction equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and repair various types of construction equipment, including but not limited to cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
2. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
3. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
4. Coordinate with the equipment operators and project managers to understand equipment issues and prioritize repairs.
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction industry, with at least 1 year in a master mechanic or similar role.
3. Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of construction equipment, particularly cranes.
4. Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
