Be a leading driver in the Facilities Maintenance Team in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC systems. This includes handling commercial air conditioning, multi-zone heating and cooling systems, and expertise in pneumatic, digital, and central energy management system controls.
Perform skilled diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
Contribute to the development of modification plans for HVAC systems in remodeling projects. Provide expert advice on technical specifications and budget considerations.
Liaise with department leaders to discuss building needs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints and organizational goals.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance checklists for new and existing equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Choose high-quality materials for HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance, balancing cost-effectiveness with performance.
Accurately interpret building blueprints for system modifications, ensuring all changes comply with regulatory standards.
Champion workplace safety and environmental best practices, upholding stringent safety protocols in all tasks.
Share your expertise in HVAC and automation control with other maintenance engineers and apprentices, fostering skill development and team growth.
Efficiently manage inventory, order parts, and track components for work orders, maintaining a well-stocked and organized work area.
Prioritize daily tasks, adapt to various maintenance needs, and ensure all documentation and paperwork are accurately completed
Qualifications:
What You Need for this Position
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the field.
- Experience in HVAC systems and automation control.
- Versatile in working across varied environments and handling diverse maintenance tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Eager to mentor and work cooperatively with team members of different specialties.
- Strong capabilities in project management and coordination with team leaders.
- Dedicated to continuous skill development and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
- Skilled in using computers, with a preference for PC or Windows-based environments.
- Competent in using hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Holds EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working with mechanical equipment.
