The Role
OWL Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Master Electrician to join our team. This role is integral to the construction and maintenance of gas stations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both gas stations and EV charging stations, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately quote and bid electrical work
- Acquire permits for electrical projects.
- Acquire and service new clients as well as existing clients.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in gas stations.
- Install and maintain electrical components during the construction phase of building gas stations from the ground up.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications to determine wiring layouts.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to maintain optimal functionality.
- Work collaboratively with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as industry safety standards.
- Perform all work according to NFPA standards and in accordance with any other regulator agency.
- See the project through from start to finish, including being present for any necessary repairs or maintenance after construction.
- Perform various mechanical and construction tasks as needed.
Requirements & Skills
- Must have a minimum of 6 years electrical experience.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
- A good driving record is required.
- Currently hold a Master Electrician License in good standing.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist in building and efficiently running an electrical division.
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and effective manner and provide great customer service.
- Working knowledge of conduit bends and wire pulls.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Applicant must have a valid driver's license and must be able to pass a drug test, criminal background and pass a MRV background and meet company qualifications
