Expectations and Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Master Electrician to join our team. This role will oversee and perform complex electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in an industrial setting. The candidate must have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, a high level of technical expertise, and the ability to work safely in compliance with NEC and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities & Duties
The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical installations and maintenance projects.
- Supervise and mentor electricians, apprentices, and field teams to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for proper installations.
- Conduct inspections to ensure work meets NEC codes, local regulations, and client expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
- Maintain project schedules, report progress, and communicate with project managers and clients.
- Ensure proper documentation, including permits, compliance reports, and job logs.
- Manage tools, materials, and equipment to maintain efficiency on all projects.
- Uphold and enforce safety procedures in all field operations.
Qualifications and Core Competencies
The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:
- Current Kentucky Master Electrician License (required).
- 5+ years of experience in electrical work, including leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Experience working on industrial projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
