Qualifications
Bachelors Degree with at least 3 years overall supply chain or material data experience;
At least 3 years experience with SAP;
At least one year of experience in ERP data governance, data management or supply chain data;
Manage complexity, detail oriented and highly focused on delivering results;
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret data;
Ability to convey complex linkage between data and business process to team members and peers;
Strong collaboration and ability to drive business process implementation
The primary responsibilities of this role, Material Master Data Analyst, are to:
Be accountable for the creation, maintenance, and governance of NA material master data and to ensure governance standards correctly applied to new and existing material data;
Provide support for the cross-functional end-to-end material creation process, working with planning, purchasing, and controlling business team members to identify and resolve issues;
Provide guidance on material master governance to internal and external stakeholders, applying existing governance standards to new/existing business models;
Identify, investigate, and communicate technical system issues that arise and coordinate with Information Technology IT to resolve them;
Identify best practices and process improvements for material data management based on investigation/analysis, lean events, or system changes;
Work to define the business value of proposed changes and/or measure the success of efforts post implementation;
Develop key relationships with regional and global material master data partners, ensuring global and international material creation processes are well-coordinated and supported;
Contribute, as a Material Data expert, to regional and global material data related projects within or outside of the team, manage material data set up/clean up projects within the team;
Perform audits on material data quality and implement corrective actions to resolve gaps;
Create proactively process documentation and lead cross training for team members and other related groups and functions
