Job Description:
-FAR GROUP is looking for a qualified Message Therapist, to provide physical therapy services on-site at The 148th Fighter Wing, Duluth, MN.

Special Qualifications:
The following qualifications shall be met by the minimum personnel required to meet the requirements of the service outlined in this job description.
• Shall be a current Licensed Massage Therapist.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in deep tissue massage is desired.
• must have experience working with patients.
• Must be Licensed in the state of Minnesota.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massage therapy techniques for extended periods.
Working Hours:
The contractor shall provide services between the flying hours of 0700-1600 or 1300-2000
on Monday through Friday, except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings,
or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.
Tasks and duties:
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, as well as self-care techniques and exercise to enhance their well-being.
• Maintain a clean and organized massage therapy workspace, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to massage therapy practice and client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Continuously expand knowledge and skills in the field of massage therapy through professional development activities, such as workshops and continuing education courses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, demonstrating empathy, respect, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
