Massage Therapist - Davis / Weber - Active Home Health & Hospice

Active Home Health and Hospice is looking for a PRN (as needed) Massage Therapist who is professional and self-motivated to join our team. We are a fun-loving, compassionate group that thrives off the gratification of caring for others!  Pay is based upon experience and training.

Job Summary: 

A Massage Therapist possesses the basic knowledge of hospice care and the benefits of massage therapy for hospice patients. The Massage Therapist is responsible for contacting referred patients, scheduling visits, developing a plan of care and providing massage therapy while addressing the comfort needs of the patient and in accordance with physician orders and IDG plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a credentialed school of Massage Therapy.
• Currently licensed in the state (s) in which practicing.
• Two (2) years experience, preferred.
• Acceptance of philosophy and goals of Hospice.

Responsibilities:

• Provides physician and IDG ordered massage therapy under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
• Prepares IDG progress notes for each patient visit in a timely manner as per Hospice policy.
• Accurately and timely documents administered massage therapy within the agency's chosen electronic medical record.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects hospice operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
