Mason / Chimney Technician - Horizon Chimney

THIS IS A SKILLED POSITION

As a Chimney Mason you will perform masonry repairs and installations working with brick, block, and stone. This position will require the ability to run a job site and manage a tender as well as the ability to figure things out and solve problems with the materials available to our industry while adhering to code and safety standards.

As a Chimney Technician you will be performing chimney cleaning and inspections, fireplace and chimney repairs, chimney lining installations, installation of stoves and fireplaces, as well as in the field sales of our products and services that are found to be needed. This position requires a high level of customer service and communication skills, ability to perform on the road sales, and the ability to figure things out and solve problems with materials available to our industry while adhering to code and safety standards.

CSIA and/or NFI Certification as well as construction/masonry experience is a big plus. Vocational experience and/or previous in home service technician experience preferred.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to efficiently work with brick/block/stone in compliance with code standards
• Able to lift 80lbs

• Able to climb ladders to access and work on roofs of all pitches and heights
• Valid driver's license w/clean record
• Experience working with chimneys and fireplaces
• Ability to safely setup and work job sites including but not limited to all types of staging

• Motivated team player with ability to problem solve
• Valid driver's license w/clean record
• CSIA and NFI certifications a plus but not required to start
• Construction Background is a plus!

PAYSCALE - $50,000-140,000 based on skill level and efficiency

This is an employee position operating with complete company insurances and transportation and tools provided by Horizon Chimney.
