WHAT YOU WILL DO
As the Marketplace Marketing Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving MICROJIG’s growth on global platforms, especially Amazon. You will lead marketing strategy execution, ensuring brand consistency across platforms, optimizing Amazon stores, and enhancing customer journeys through data-driven campaigns. You will collaborate with creative teams, address vendor issues, and expand into new marketplaces while driving continuous improvement and meeting performance metrics.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT
- Oversee the creation and implementation of approved marketing strategies
- Ensure company brand values are articulated and promoted appropriately across all mediums. E.g. Upload Videos, Copy, Documents, to detail pages
- Manage the Amazon Stores and Continue to Optimize
- Ensure Leading Detail Page Quality and Storytelling e.g. A+ Infographic Images
- Review product reviews and seller feedback and respond and track product experience improvements and escalate to management - check with 3P sellers if able to contact customers or issue refunds
- Ensure customer avatars and customer value journey foundation pieces are complete, implemented and monitored using DM metrics. E.g. Run market basket analysis to spot bundle opportunities, trends, and improve the customer journey
- Create, plan and implement marketing campaigns and funnels. E.g. Prime-only Run Coupons, Best Deals, Lightening Deals, Promotions withbuildbrand-value first approach
- Ensure all digital technology and platforms have the relevant tracking and analytics tools applied and operating. E.g. Ensure Compliance on platforms
- Ensure detail pages, titles, stores, A+ content, websites and other funnel pages are optimized for SEO.
- Keep Catalog up to date, pricing correct, full listing opportunities across channels
- Review campaigns/funnels using quantitative and qualitative metrics and identify opportunities for improvement through optimization techniques. e.g. A/B Split testing and Manage A/B Content Experiments
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of the email marketing systems – including broadcast and automated emails. E.g. Weekly Manage Your Customer Engagement Emails that are targeted, relevant, and present the proper market basket suggestions
- Provide email segmentation and list analysis
- Oversee PPC and traffic management – including ad strategy, creation, placement and results. E.g. Work with Quartile on Ad Optimization and ROAS Performance and Negative Keyword Adjustments
- Oversee the Content and Social strategy – this includes blogs, vlogs, social posts to identified channels. Monitor engagement, reach and results using metrics. E.g. Amazon Posts and Amazon Live
- Communicate, coordinate, and orchestrate graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters to ensure the best shopping experience is implemented on-brand and driving sales
- Maintain and oversee the Business Reports scorecard for the business.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Continuous improvement habits and mindset to Study LEARN Section and Implement Best Practices and share insights with cross-functional teams
- Stay up to date and find new tricks, tips, strategies for optimizing the amazon brand shopping experience and growth (beta engage customers campaigns)
- Work with Vendor Merchant, Vendor Support, Seller Support to Resolve Issues Swiftly, reduce chargebacks, waive chargebacks, refunds, and address inventory/fulfillment issues.
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve marketing checklists and seller checklists and SOP documentation
- Other tasks as directed e.g. Update Case Packs for Purchase Orders
- Your skills may take you beyond the realm of Amazon and make strategic advances in other marketplaces like Shopify, Temu, Walmart, Retail Partners sites as requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (certifications in digital marketing or platforms like Google and Facebook are a plus)
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced skills and understanding of Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Google Analytics at a minimum – ideally the Google Unified advertising and Analytics Platform
- Advanced skills and understanding of Amazon’s Advertising Platform PPC and DSP
- Advanced skills and understanding of social channels – LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Amazon Posts, Amazon Live
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for creative problem-solving
- Intermediate to advanced in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Intermediate to advanced asynchronous communication skills via project management software like Asana
- Understanding and ability to work with marketing software such as – Salesforce CRMs, Webflow page builders, automation tools and Mailchimp
