Marketing Specialist Position Summary:
Are you a creative thinker with a flair for content creation and digital media? We’re seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team! This remote position requires presence in Syracuse, New York for in-person meetings and activities. In collaboration with our Marketing Director, you’ll drive agency presence, enhance brand awareness, and engage audiences through strategic content and creative projects.
Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral library which includes brochures, program materials, and flyers
- Create and execute marketing strategies to promote agency and its programs/services across various platforms.
- Support the management of agency digital channels (website, social media, email marketing) to ensure consistent messaging and brand identity.
- Collaborate with departments, programs, and services to fulfill their marketing needs
- Assist with requests for support, marketing projects, and department’s administrative tasks such as purchasing, liaising with external vendors, organizing collateral, etc.
- Uphold and effectively communicate the agency’s values (Service, Excellences, and Responsibility), ensuring that they are reflected in interactions with team members, stakeholders and in daily work and marketing efforts
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to support agency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 2-4 years of proven experience in content creation, digital media, and/or content marketing roles.
- Proficient in using content management systems, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms (e.g., WordPress, Buffer, Mailchimp).
- Experience with design and video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Skilled in managing social and digital channels (e.g., Facebook / Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Products)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders in a team environment
- Excellent project management skills, capable of multitasking, and meeting deadlines in a rapidly evolving environment.
- A passion for storytelling and the ability to adapt content style and tone to different audiences and platforms.

Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 / year
