Trade Promotion is an investment that Kimberly Clarkmakes to sell our products. North America Consumer trade spend accounts forapproximately $800 million dollars. Examples include channel and customerdiscounts, trading terms, loyalty programs, display and end cap discounts andprice promotions. This role serves as a trade promotion Subject Matter Expert(SME) for a portfolio of North America Consumer accounts.
The Trade Promotion Marketing Specialist supports North America (KCNA) Trade Promotion Managementby building collaborative relationships with KCNA sales teams, managing aportfolio of accounts and related trade invoices, deductions, allocations totrade events, ensuring budgets are accurately reported, identifying issuesi.e., overspent trade promotions, invalid invoices or deductions.
Customers:
Key customers for this position are KCNA Sales teams,Customer Finance and Customer Development teams, often at the Director level.These customers expect the prompt and accurate management of all Trade Promotionprocesses in order to achieve desired results. The incumbent plays a key rolein gathering, interpreting, analyzing and coordination of information forassigned customer account portfolio.
Principal Accountabilities:
Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with KCNASales teams.
Responsible for the timely, accurate entries andmaintenance of trade settlements.
Analyze and validate data and issue rebate payments in atimely manner.
Review invalid billing with Sales finance and dispute asneeded with customer.
Provide internal customers analysis, trends as related toassigned account(s).
Monitor customer account activity so that negative trendsin Trade Promotion performance are recognized and addressed with customer andbusiness management.
Report to the Trade Promotions Manager whenever corporatefinancial policies or instructions are not being followed, or appearinappropriate, inadequate, or out of date.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher
Strong attention to detail, thorough, analytical mindset
The candidate must be able to communicate with allfunctions of the organization and possess the ability to decipher andcommunicate financial data with key stakeholders.
The individual should be able to understand, translate,and provide useful insights of the financial implications related to decisions,actions, and team objectives.
Intermediate Excel skills
Preferred Requirements:
2%2B years experience in Trade Promotion, marketing oraccounting related functions
SAP and BW experience
Advanced Excel skills
Highly preferred candidate is local to the Knoxville areato be onsite for training the first couple weeks, then onsite about 1x a weekgoing forward.
