Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Marketing Specialist (Pacific Standard Time Candidates Only).
This is a remote temporary position 6-8 months

- BA/BS degree and three (3) to five (5) years of experience in marketing or related field preferred.
- Experience as a Marketing project manager, strong experience with HubSpot, Monday.com, Mailchimp and juggling multiple projects/priorities at once.
- Experience in the health benefits or health insurance industry is highly desirable.
- Advanced knowledge of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Advanced project management skills, with an emphasis on scheduling and task management.
- Self-motivated and highly skilled at managing multiple projects, and working in a high-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency of marketing automation, content management, earned media, paid media, owned media, and marketing analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to execute marketing strategies that drive demand and introduce, position, and market products and services.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute innovative solutions to marketing and sales challenges.
- Maintain the production calendar and facilitate production workflow to ensure deadlines are met within scope and cost.
- Develop marketing creative briefs and project plans. Execute those plans ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and cost.
- Maintain the marketing production queue in a detailed manner, providing updates to the internal department and clients with regularity across the company.
- Ensure project management workflows within the marketing team are followed.
- Monitor the marketing activity for events (online and in-person) to maintain brand standards and ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and cost.
- Identify bottle necks within projects and remove barriers to ensure projects do not remain stagnant.
- Contribute to quality management by evaluating marketing activity throughout the project lifecyle and providing actionable feedback for improvement.
- Participate actively and regularly in project reviews.
- Ensure project stakeholder marketing needs are addressed. Report on risks and quality variances.
- Manage external stakeholder relationships using communication plans, briefs, and reporting vehicles.
- Develop and deliver actionable reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Generate written, social, or digital content for clients when needed in the form of social media posts, emails, or landing pages.
- Assess project requests and provide feedback or alternative solutions to assist clients in reaching their goals.
- Provide bi-weekly marketing automation reports to marketing leadership, including best/worst performers and total unsubscribes.
- Maintain a database of potential leads and segregate contacts for our email marketing campaigns into different mailing lists.
- Conduct monthly research and analysis for opportunities to implement automated campaigns across the WGFC and execute on findings.
- Review, analyze, and report individual email performance to the ops team bi-weekly, and assist with implementing strategic adjustments to improve performance and engagement.
- Present monthly productivity reports to marketing leadership, reviewing important findings from closed projects from the prior month.
- Manage email sends from marketing automation instance to ensure successful execution, ensure quality standards are met and best practices are followed.
- Plan, develop, and implement automated email marketing campaigns that target different segments of our target audience.
