Description:
Deliver led events, trade show events, and partner events. These are physical, virtual, and hybrid. All aspects of event management from initial concept (working with our sales teams) through to post event follow up is owned by the job holder.
Maintaining and executing a fully integrated marketing plan that fits seamlessly with the sales objectives for the accounts.
Assessing the 'fit' of corporate marketing campaigns to the accounts working with the wider marketing team to adapt and introduce them as appropriate.
Driving engagement with customers by creating a regular cadence of communications with customer contacts which includes content development, writing and editing of traditional and social media, list/database management, and response metric tracking/reporting
Leading the development of customized events and assisting with the execution as appropriate.
Presenting and evangelizing relevant business and technical content on webcasts, events and in sales presentations to audiences that ranges from in-the-field sales/SEs to Marketing, sales and product management teams.
Managing a marketing budget of dedicated OPEX funding (and MDF if appropriate)
Skills:

B2B marketing experience in the technology sector.
An appreciation of telecoms technologies.
A good understanding of service provider business models and their challenges.
Outstanding communication skills to quickly analyze information and use that analysis to concisely and accurately communicate a recommended course of action
Familiarity with marketing and sales automation systems such as Eloqua and salesforce.com
Experience of digital marketing techniques and platforms
Frequent travel across North America to support physical events.
Education:
Experience is more important than educational attainment. Must be an experienced field marketer in the events environment along with all aspects of marketing that support physical. virtual, and hybrid events in today's world.
Knowledge of the Telco / technology sector in a B2B marketing capacity.

Additional details from the manager on schedule:
The first is to develop and deliver four customer events (1 in September and 3 in October). I estimate this will require an average of three days per week to complete although a few additional days may be required during October which is the critical month.
After that it will be delivery of virtual events so no travel required. At this moment in time this aspect is not confirmed as we have ongoing discussions with our account teams as to what their requirements are.
Assist with marketing campaigns in the field, such as, events, or product demonstrations, while also managing administrative tasks like data entry, reporting, budget tracking, and coordinating logistics related to their field activities, attending sales calls to provide marketing updates. Expectation of scheduled administrative tasks/managing budgets/attending sales meetings between 7 am to 6 pm PT.
