Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist I will lead the development, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns and strategies within the region to support lead creation and expansion of company products, services and brand recognition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in marketing and project management with the ability to establish KPIs, budgets, and deliverables to support business objectives and drive results.
Responsibilities:
This role provides support for all of our industries/markets in the North American region.
Develop and manage multi-channel campaigns that support business initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (Google ads, social media, e-mail, in-person, videos, webinars, articles, etc.)
Manage planning, execution and data tracking for regional tradeshows and events. This includes booth design, budgeting, and communication with sales. Track and measure sales and marketing metrics to show ROI: MQL/SQL, cost per lead, Conversion rate, conversion value, velocity to close.
Analyze market trends and best practices to develop effective marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and drive sales programs to generate new leads.
Define KPIs, evaluate and present data on campaign effectiveness, and adjust strategies as needed to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
Coordinate with external vendors on events, translations, and campaigns
Stay up to date on competitive intelligence and leverage traditional and digital platforms to differentiate against the competition
Manage and plan social media calendar to align with strategy and regional business objectives
Manage PR and advertising for multiple products and product groups including placement and adaptation to regional needs
Develop annual Marketing plans together with the Regional Marketing Manager, Global Marketing Director, and regional business lead
Supports regional execution of global marketing priorities and new Corporate initiatives (acquisitions, integrations)
Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality responsibilities:
Comply with the applicable regulations and standards regarding quality, safety, environmental as well as the occupational health standards in order to minimize risks in these areas and to create opportunities and chances for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• 5+ years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of marketing/commerce with emphasis on industrial marketing.
• Experience in scientific or chemical related field, or industrial fields related to metals and metalworking preferred
• Experience in channel management (Sales, marketing, etc) preferred.
• Strong prioritization, attention to detail, organization, and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Experience in organizing seminars, lectures, workshops and trade fairs and developing and presenting commercial justification
• Must possess commercial creativity.
