About the Job
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Social Media Assistant to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and a passion for digital marketing. Candidate will be responsible for assisting with various marketing tasks, including some social media management and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Assist in with social media specialist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Google Business Profile, etc.).
- Content Creation: Assist the marketing team in creating high-quality content including website copy, blog posts etc.
- Design: Assist in creating eye-catching graphics and visuals for social media and other marketing materials.
- Email Marketing: Assist in developing and executing email campaigns by creating content and refining target audience lists. Track email performance metrics and analyze open and click-through rates.
- Marketing Support: Provide general administrative support.
- Events: Provide support with event planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. Canva) is a plus
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact) is [referred/
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
