The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking a Marketing Research Analyst to join our Advertising Sales team. This role involves gathering and analyzing primary and secondary data to identify market trends, create B2B marketing materials, and uncover advertising revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel at transforming research into engaging presentations that support our multi-brand product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on market trends and consumer behaviors using tools like Nielsen and Google Analytics.
- Support Sales & Marketing: Provide data-driven insights to inform lead generation and pre-sales strategies.
- Data Storytelling: Present findings in a clear, actionable format to support decision-making.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to create research-backed tools and presentations.
- Competitive Analysis: Track industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Trend Forecasting: Monitor emerging market trends for strategic insights.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with media analytics platforms like Nielsen and advertising analytics tools.
- Understanding of corporate sales environments and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and digital analytics is a plus.
