We are looking for a Marketing Pursuit Coordinator to join our marketing team. The Marketing Pursuit Coordinator will work as a key member on the NV5 marketing team, partnering with Department Directors and Pursuit Champions to support the business development efforts throughout the Client Relations process. A creative and strategic position, the primary focus will be handling outgoing proposals for new business, qualification packages, client-focused sales materials, customized content/products (both physical and digital), and interview presentations to secure new, exciting projects with both existing and new clients. The Marketing Pursuit Coordinator will have an eye for detail, ability to manage multiple projects at once, and a passion for collaboratively crafting impactful pursuit materials. The role will divide time between guiding projects and carrying out tasks to completion. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Business Development the role supports Business Development team as well.
Responsibilities:Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinates & collaborates with assigned teams developing qualification-based collateral to support client meetings and project pursuits ensuring a strong, customized approach and successful submission.
- Coordinates pursuit kick-off meetings, as needed, establishing content assignments and deadlines and synthesizing content from multiple contributors.
- Coordinates editing and quality control measures for all assigned proposals and qualification packages.
- Performs pursuit close-out, including proposal deconstruction, internal/external debriefs and reviewing competitor proposals.
- Update and maintain marketing collateral and proposal assets database.
- Assists with identifying project photography needs and communicating such opportunities to content development team members.
- Occasional design of custom graphics for proposals, qualification packages, presentations, leave-behind collateral, advertisements, social media which complement standard template and brand standards
- Research, technical, and/or creative writing to enhance our existing literature and help shape future collateral
In addition, the qualified individual will also be responsible for:
- Industry research, data gathering and reporting
- Occasionally attend industry-related organization functions and events
- Photography, videography and editing
- Design and generate graphics
- Compose social media posts, internal message board content, and other online platform content
- Monitor and apply in-place brand standards
- Support of business development team and positioning activities
- Project and client database management
Education, experience, and skills.
- BA/BS/AS degree with a concentration in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or Communications
- Strong project management and organizational experience
- Must have extensive MS Word, PowerPoint, InDesign / Adobe Creative Suite experience. Other graphics software and CRM database experience is also desired.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vantagepoint, a plus.
- Effective proposal management skills, including strong attention to details, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
- Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
- Exceptional creativity and innovation.
- Videography and video editing platforms a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong writing, editing, communication, organization, and computer skills with attention to detail.

- This position will be subject to indoor and outside environmental conditions, including weather conditions such as wet and /or humid environments, extreme cold and/or heat, dusty and noisy work environments
- Work will primarily be in the field involving long term standing and frequent walking as well as include common hazards at construction and project sites
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to walk over rough and uneven terrain and be able to stand up to 10-12 hours a day on occasion
- Must have the ability to see, smell, hear, talk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel and twist, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, sit, stand, and walk
- Weekend and overtime work and/or overnight work and travel may be required
- Additional physical duties may be required as necessary
