The marketing assistant will learn about the AEC industry and its procurement process, and support marketing staff with proposal and presentation development across multiple service lines. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated marketing team that helps secure the sales revenue that enables KCI’s continuous growth. The right candidate will build expertise and demonstrate the skills required to progress to marketing coordinator. This individual should be a proficient time manager, show initiative, and be motivated by a deadline-driven role. The marketing assistant will:

• Read through and become familiar with RFQ/P documents and requirements.
• Shadow marketing coordinators, learning how to manage the proposal process from beginning to end.
• Attend pursuit kick-off meetings to collaborate on winning marketing response strategies.
• Conduct background research, gather supporting materials, prepare proposal documents, and edit draft content to help marketing staff maximize efficiency.
• Edit personnel resumes and project descriptions.
• Print, assemble, and ship proposals / prepare electronic submission files as needed.
• Enter and update information in the CRM database to maintain accurate records.
• Learn how to use various document layout and graphics software, especially Adobe InDesign.
• Update project imagery and photographs in the collateral library
• Assist marketing staff with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

• BS in Marketing or related field highly preferred. 
• Minimum of 0 - 2 years of experience required.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.

• Complete Annual Individual Training Program
• Train adequate backup personnel to support your role in your absence
• Attend bi-weekly marketing meetings
• Attend monthly town hall meetings
• Comply with all KCI policies and procedures
• Complete other duties as required/assigned
• Assist Corporate Communications with internal/external communication pieces, events, giveaways and booth coordination as required
• Assist with maintenance and regular updates of marketing databases
• Assist with updating and maintaining content on corporate intranet
• Enter and update sales leads in marketing database
• Support internal communications and recognition programs
• Support social media and other external communications programs
• Assist with production of resumes, proposals, qualification packages and other documents
