Job Overview
The Marketing Project Manager works with the Director of Marketing (and appropriate other divisional team members as directed) to create strategy and goals for marketing campaigns to drive divisional sales objectives. They are responsible for turning strategy into reality and delegate tasks to appropriate internal and external team members. The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing and executing marketing programs, communications and campaigns necessary to achieve company/department objectives and budgets for division/program.
Roles and Responsibilities
Qualified candidates can work independently to meet corporate and divisional goals by managing key process that include, but are not limited to:
- Lead projects to develop and execute marketing campaigns for new product launches, certifications and existing programs. Act as point person for all project deliverable timing and status, updating team leads as needed and effectively communicate changes.
- Manage the assessment of the competitive landscape to improve or launch new programs.
- Drive projects from start to finish while remaining aware of timing, cost, and quality.
- Identify resource and scheduling challenges to create project delivery plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute internal and external marketing programs/projects.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, such as marketing brochures, flyers, and digital messaging, overseeing the design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment.
- Manage content for division’s web pages and manage program ad words
- Develop presentations and promotional campaigns for webinars
- Manage the divisional webinar program
- Plan and manage conferences and events to support marketing objectives
- Monitor performance, response, and ROI of marketing programs to ensure that they meet program and financial objectives
- Manage marketing department’s workflow processes and training documents, developing new workflows and production processes for ad hoc projects as needed.
- Collaborate with Director of Sales & Marketing to create division/program budgets and manage spending against agreed budgets.
- Public Relations- Track divisional public relations needs, plan and manage special events, and prepare press releases, program talking points, and related materials as directed in cooperation with Corporate Marketing.
- Social Media and Social Media Advertising- Work with Corporate Marketing to fulfill divisional needs.
- Manage and support additional marketing production tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- 3-6 years of marketing experience
- Exceptional written communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of marketing tools and techniques
- Proactive problem solver with high energy and a positive attitude who can build strong relationships.
- Successfully able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, organized, and able to prioritize within multiple workflow
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and varied stakeholders who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Can operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Detail oriented, highly motivated, self-starter, demonstrated ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Preferred Skills
- Interest or familiarity with concepts and practices related to third-party certification in the context of office furniture, building materials, consumer goods, life cycle assessment, and GHG management
- Familiarity with HubSpot marketing automation software, CRM, email campaign software and Webinar platforms such as GoToWebinar
- Familiarity with all relevant social media platforms
Physical Requirements
This is an office based job. Sit 6+ hours per day. Keyboarding 6+ hours per day. Must be able to speak and listen to employees and vendors in person and on the phone.
