Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive traffic at key retailers such as Amazon, Bass Pro Shops, West Marine, and other national retailers. They will work with Key Account Managers to execute key deliverables and support the overall customer and consumer experience in our retail stores.

+ Develop Marketing Strategies : Create comprehensive marketing plans to promote products at brick & mortar and e-commerce retailers, including advertising campaigns, promotions, and in-store displays.
+ Coordinate Campaigns : Lead cross-functional teams (including creative & production, merchandising, operations) through the development of creative briefs to ensure flawless execution of retail marketing plans and campaigns across email, social media, and print.
+ Optimize Online Experiences: Regularly update online platforms to increase customer engagement, optimize for search performance and grow the business.
+ Support Amazon Business Objectives: Work closely with Amazon account managers and brand teams to drive sales and improve product listings.
+ Analyze Performance: Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing programs to drive improvement.
+ Collaborate with Sales Teams : Work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and targets.
+ Plan Events : Organize promotional events and in-store activities to engage customers and increase foot traffic.
+ Monitor Competitors : Keep an eye on competitor activities and adapt marketing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
+ Education : A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required.
+ Experience : Previous experience in marketing, especially within the retail sector, is highly valued
+ Project Management: Managing all project timeliness and providing solutions when unexpected delays and challenges arise
+ Collaboration: Timely responsiveness to client and internal request, and ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and project details against tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Industry : Experience professionally or personally with fishing and/or boating
+ Digital : A strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and how to succeed
+ Creative : An ability to create strong creative briefs to develop customer assets
Working Conditions:
+ 20% travel to retailers, Navico Group offices and tradeshow events, including some weekends.
+ Preferred location is Chicago, IL.
