OneWater Marine is looking of a Marketing Manager to lead and make a difference as part of a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and build strong relationships between dealership GMs, internal team, and partners; act as a liaison to communicate dealership needs effectively, project status, rationale, KPIs, and new business opportunities.
- Develop strategic recommendations.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for their dealers and positioning the Yacht Division in a way where it can accomplish our goals.
- Own the dealer relationship and be the advocate to ensure that the team is aligned to deliver on the scope of work.
- Work with creative and project teams to prepare creative briefs, facilitate internal kickoffs, and translate dealership objectives into project specifications.
- Manage digital, print, social, mobile, broadcast, and promotional campaigns.
- Prepare budget tracking and reporting.
- Create marketing plans and project calendars to support client initiatives.
- Write effective proposals and RFPs, develop presentations, and present ideas in a compelling manner.
- Research and benchmark competitors to help determine dealership needs, strategies, and tactics (SWOT and PEST).
- Facilitate and interpret marketing research such as focus groups, surveys, and secondary research reports.
- Provide campaign reports (from multiple sources) and draw insights and conclusions for dealers.
- Manage email and direct mail campaigns (acquisition, engagement, or retention); list acquisition/management, nurture campaigns, content calendars.
- Manage and report on all manufacturer co-op
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communications/advertising preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience, preferred.
- Background in advertising and media.
- Marine experience is preferred.
- Strong background in traditional, broadcast, and print media, with a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape.
Skills & Experience:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, Word, and PPT.
- Experience speaking to and presenting to dealer principals and general managers decision-makers.
- WordPress, CMS, Google Analytics, and web development process.
- Ability to articulate and deliver rationale for media recommendations to clients; work closely with the media department and social media team.
- Experience with social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
